It was a while back that Kara picked up a friends guitar and started strumming chords she never learned. A year later she had written several songs based on a simple 2 chord system. Ummm because she never learned a ton. "I have little hands".

So she kept her songs simple in structure but still full of abundant vocals and deep sounds.
