Ya down with HCG? ya you know me
Okay so I finished the Whole 30, felt great and then the celebrations started rolling in. I went off the wagon hard and found myself about 10 l.b.s up from the 14 l.b.s I had lost on the Whole 30. I was in a place of wanting an aggressive weight loss and couldn't fathom starting from ground zero again. My mind shifted from "lifestyle eating" to diet eating. And it paid off. Now HCG is a pretty controversial diet and I want to emphasis the word "DIET". Because this not desig

Whole 30? It's what again?
So I had a party at my pad and my friend Courtney showed up and brought her own food as they explained they were on the Whole 30. I thought soooo L.A. Funny but her food was actually this smokey pulled pork that was quite tasty. But that's beside the point. She was not eating any of my tasty treats or drinking any of my dranks. Really? So we did the "what detox are you on this week chat." She explained that Whole 30 is a 30 day detox that helps your body reset it's baseline i

38 Pounds Down! Whaaaat?
So here I am actually more than half way to my goal weight. How did this happen after years of starting and stoping and restarting and stopping again. Well they call it a journey for a reason. I did kick start this motha with the Whole 30 , sugar and carb detox. You can check out the Whole 30 blog which really explains this beast of a tox. After the whole 30 July hit me which meant 3 Birthdays, 2 BBQ's and my 4 year wedding anniversary. In other words I gained back close to 1
Wow- I looked that Good?
Okay so this is a pic of me when I was obviously younger but more importantly thinner, fitter and totally unaware of how HOT I WAS!!!! I have been really good at not dwelling on past pictures because I think that it can rob us of actually loving who and where we are today. I don't want live in the past. We age, we mature and it's all beautiful. Okay cut the crap. I looked URMMMAAZZIINNGG. Back in this picture I remember that I had just ran @ 8 miles a few days before and fou

Time to Face the Fat!!!
Okay so I couldn't really ignore it anymore. I got tired of having multiple chins and a mean FUPA. Although I loved my curves and the freedom of being "ME" there was this nagging feeling that I really wasn't the "Best Me". Okay lets take it back,,, before my marriage. Let's just blame it on fat and Happy shall we? Before My MAAANNN, I was working many butt breaking part-time jobs on my feet and financially struggling and still managed time to run and work-out. Once I feel in

Day 11 on Whole 30
Okay so I am 11 days in and it's not that bad but not that great. I am starting to transition from using carbs and sugar as fuel to using fat as fuel. Apparently it is called "Fat Adaptation". The time it takes for your body to kick into using your MUFFIN TOP for fuel is actually a grueling 5-7 days. You can feel fatigued and literally have flu like symptoms. Keeping the Faith and the fun alive! Please enjoy this musical melt down of me doing a car confessional! #whole30 #pa

Down to 1 Chin! Day 24 on the Whole 30
Wow 24 Days without Sugar, Alcohol, Bread, Treats, Sugar, Alcohol. Apparently that will get you pretty close to 1 chin. It's been quite challenging but worth it. Starting to feel empowered by eating whole foods that keep my blood sugar stable. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to jump start a new way of eating clean. #whole30 #paelo #weightloss #journey #fatgirl #slim #fatgirlslim #cleaneating #beforeandafter
